Mount Vernon Baptist Church is a historic church, ministering to the local and surrounding areas for more than 173 years. This is a place where you can connect with a community of faith and explore the love of God.
Our purpose is to help people experience meaningful life in Jesus Christ.
Join us for our traditional worship services. A place to pray and worship. There is a place for you.
Worship begins at 11 a.m. in the church’s sanctuary.
Together, we’re striving to become the kind of church described in the Bible, where there’s relevant teaching, heart-felt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer, and compassionate care for those in need. We want to have the contagious Christianity that can influence and encourage the entire community, one life at a time.
