Ned Yost Bio
A native of Eureka, California, he played in the major leagues for eight years, was the bullpen and third base coach for the Atlanta Braves and went on to manage the Milwaukee Brewers and Kansas City Royals. He led the Royals to two World Series, winning in 2015. He has the best winning percentage in post-season play of any manager in baseball history, the most-ever managerial wins for the Royals' franchise and is one of the few to have played in a World Series, then coached and managed World Series-winning teams in both the American and National Leagues.
